Hobbies

Putting irrelevant information in resume is probably a big mistake that most job seekers make. Irrelevant information is the details that do not impact on the performance of the position being applied for. Most job seekers include details such as age, religious belief, marital status, ethnic background, and political inclinations which are not important in performing a task. Some job seekers would put a photo of themselves on their resumes. For me, this is not necessary unless you’re as pretty as Angelina Jolie or as gorgeous as Hugh Jackman.

Don’t let employers judge you by looks, market yourself with your professional skills and talents. Unless photo is required then you can include. What about including your hobbies and interests? Are these details essential to your resume? The decision to add in your hobbies and interests in your resume should be really based on whether it supports your resume and will give more impact to help an employer decide the position.Always put in mind that the information you should put in your resume should all be geared on presenting the employer that you are the best candidate for the job. –>
